Use the free shuttle service for transportation from SeaTac to the Car Rental Facility with buses departing from two designated points - at the North and South baggage claims. After landing, head to the closest baggage claim area and then exit through sliding glass doors 2 or 15 to reach the shuttle stop. Then, your task is to find a distinctive blue-colored bus with wide blue and green stripes on a white background on both sides and get on board.
The 2-mile trip to RCC takes no more than 8 minutes, while the time interval between routes is typically 10-15 minutes. Finally, the shuttle drops you off on the 5th floor of the facility, from where you proceed to your company's counter.
Shuttles running between RCC and the terminal will quickly get you to your upcoming flight. You can board the bus outside of the building by choosing between the North and South lines, which arrive at the lower drive outside of the North and South baggage claims, respectively. Therefore, before proceeding to the bus stop, check which airline you are traveling with and make your way outside the building based on this information. The shuttle ride takes no more than 10 minutes, but you may have to wait 10-15 minutes for the next departure.
You've thoroughly enjoyed cruising around the local attractions and it's time to head back. Companies handle returns within RCC and you must make your way to the designated parking space. Depending on where you plan to return from, consider the popular SeaTac car rental facility directions and approximate routes below.
You can choose between several routes - via Interstate 5 or Hwy 99 S/WA-509 S. If you prefer I-5, use the left lane to take the I-5 S ramp to Portland and merge onto I-5 S. Then, keep two right lanes to take exit 154B and merge onto WA-518 W toward Burien. Turn right onto the ramp to Sea-Tac and follow signs for WA-99 S. Then, make a right turn onto S 160th St, and steer right again to enter the return area.
When starting from Burien, head south on WA-509 S and take the WA-518 exit toward I-5. Then, use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto WA-518 E, drive approximately 1.4 mi, and take the S 154th St exit toward WA-99. Turn left onto S 154th St and make a right turn onto International Blvd. Continue driving, turn right onto S 160th St, and turn right again for Return.
Take I-5 N and keep right to stay on I-5 N. Use the 2nd from the right lane to keep right at the fork and stay on I-5 N. After that, stick to 2nd from the right lane to take exit 154 to merge onto WA-518 W toward Sea-Tac. Merge onto WA-518 W and turn right onto the ramp to Sea-Tac. Follow signs for WA-99 S and merge onto WA-99 N/International Blvd. Then, turn right onto S 160th St and make a right turn again to arrive at your destination.
Get on I-405 S toward Renton and continue straight until it becomes WA-518 W. Use the right lane to turn right onto the ramp to Sea-Tac and follow signs for WA-99 S. Merge onto WA-99 N/International Blvd, turn right onto S 160th St, and finally make a right turn again to enter the return area.
The location of the Rental Car Center in Seatac is technically well thought out, making it convenient for customers to arrive and depart. The 5-level consolidated facility occupies 2.1 million square feet just 1.5 miles north of the airfield and provides a rapid shuttle connection to the surrounding infrastructure through the Airport Expressway.
If you look at the map below, you will see that buses arrive at the North and South stops, each serving passengers traveling with specific airlines. The ground transportation area along with the multi-level parking garage feature a direct connection to the terminal via 6 skybridges installed on Level 4. Additionally, you have access to the light rail station via an elevated walkway, making it even easier for passengers to move around.
Taxis and rideshare services also stop outside, at Level 0 Ground Transportation connected to International Blvd/Pacific Hwy. In turn, Pacific Hwy has exits on WA-518, WA-509, and I-5 that lead to nearby and more distant destinations. For more information on getting to/from the RCC and terminal, see the following maps.

Such a large selection of suppliers can confuse you and create a lot of questions about which agency to choose. However, the task is actually simple if you follow a certain approach. So, in case you want to collect your vehicle late at night, opt for Avis or Budget, which offer a 24-hour service. If you plan to travel with kids, prefer a provider with the cheapest child seats. Naturally, don’t forget to monitor current rates and customer ratings, which can say a lot about each supplier as well.
